Z
ZEBRA PATTERN
A set of lines (or stripes) that appear on a camcorder’s LCD or viewscreen to indicate overexposed (or nearly overexposed) portions of the video. This feature is only available on more feature laden camcorders. The zebra pattern is like an audio meter that instantly tells you when your audio is clipping. Many professionals rely on zebra stripes for exposure.
